Optical Fibre Control-Measurement Systems Of Compound HV/HP Electrical Equipment
1988
Responsible electrical equipment should be controlled during the work in care of their high reliability. Traditional control measurement systems cannot fulfil the task because of the hard conditions in which the equipment may operate (various electrical potentials, electromagnetic interferences, changes of temperature, etc.). The development of fibre optic transmission media and fibre optic sensors allows the construction of new control measurement systems for cooperation with such electrical equipment as: converters, generators, treLnsforniens, switch bays, busbards, etc. Those optical fibre structures, composed of bu-ses and sensors are subject of this paper. The main attention is paid to…
Kalman filtering applied to Profibus-DP systems. Multirate control systems with delayed signals
2008
In networked control systems several devices (controllers, sensors and actuators) share a common communication resource. This feature can introduce variable and even random delays when those devices try to transmit information through the shared medium. The limited bandwidth capabilities of the transmission medium also can restrict the freedom to set the sampling periods in the control loop. An attempt to reduce the significance of the signal delays and save to some bandwidth can be based on high values of sampling periods. Usually this solution has remarkable effects in the system performance because with higher sampling periods closed loop response capabilities are decreased. This paper p…
Patch-Based Image Denoising Model for Mixed Gaussian Impulse Noise Using L1 Norm
2017
Image denoising is the classes of technique used to free the image form the noise. The noise in the image may be added during the observation process due to the improper setting of the camera lance, low-resolution camera, cheap, and low-quality sensors, etc. Noise in the image may also be added during the image restoration, image transmission through the transmission media. To obtain required information from image, image must be noise free, i.e., high-frequency details must be present in the image. There are number of applications where image denoising is needed such as remote location detection, computer vision, computer graphics, video surveillance, etc. In last two decades, numbers of m…
Linear Waves in Electrical Transmission Lines
1996
Nowadays, linear transmission lines provide vital links in virtually all communications and computer systems, and the parallel-wire line is still widely used today in open-wire form, in coaxial cables and microstrips. The standard twoconductor transmission line is an important familiar system, that is able to support the propagation of transverse electromagnetic modes and is of great interest in many practical situations. We have all often studied this electrical circuit or variation of it in elementary electronics, physics, or mathematics courses (Ramo et al. 1965, Davidson 1978, Badlock and Bridgeman 1981). In fact, the study of linear transmission lines is an old problem: in their simple…
